Scenes
I have put together the imagining of some scenes from the screenplay to capture the mood and feel.
Danny Allbright, Peter Wright and Ricky Newman are offered a special whisky before venturing on their trip through the underground tunnels of the city.
The three men and their dog arrive at a cavern with a door, which they open to reveal a bright light which they step into.
Stepping out of the light, they find themselves in an animated Royal Mile in 1984.
The bikers steal jewels from a shop which are hidden in a stuffed toy panda.
The men meet their younger selves and are taken to a club called The Underground, dressed as punks.
Danny visits the toilets at the club and remembers what clubbing was like.
The elderly men and their dog bump up and down in their car down the steps of the Vennel towards The Grassmarket.
Their dog, Buddy, finds the toy panda discarded in the street by the bikers' landlady Mrs Tillyworth.
The men and their dog are invited to crash at the flat where their younger selves stay and partake in a night of partying and excess.
The men return to Edinburgh's Smallest Shop to find a way back and meet a Rastafarian who helps them.
The men are taken to a football match where Buddy stops a goal from being scored, sending the fans into a rage and chasing them up the street.
Baba Fatt sits on his throne and orders his men to find the jewels.
Dame Conceitayda Lott lives in Rockville, a gothic building.
Buddy leaps over vehicles during a chase.
The bikers visit the flat looking for the panda.
Buddy grips Baba Fatt with his teeth and drags him through the flat.
Baba Fatt meets head convener, Lenny, at the biker convention in a church, to hear the word of Zep.
In a cafe, Buddy offers advice to a young girl who is struggling with writer's block.
The bikers chase the three men and Buddy through the city of Edinburgh.
